Construction Risk Insurance Can I File An Insurance Claim After A Policy Expires For An Event That Occured During The Policy Period?

Can I file an insurance claim after a policy expires for an event that occured during the policy period? - construction risk insurance

I had a theft and loss of fraud in the construction of our house, however, has pointed out the political risk of a manufacturer. I (the owner / contractor) was named in the policy. This policy has been replaced by a traditional policy of homeowners now. Can I go back and steal file a claim against the political risk and property reported $ $ for the duration of the policy, but never recovered? Police reports had been in the risk policy in force.

Yes, but there is a limit of time.
Every policy is different, then the various laws are everywhere. But the principles are the same everywhere.
File of the application as soon as possible
You have to answer to this question.
Why did it take so long to bring this claim?
An honest answer is all that is necessary. "I was Buisy with the construction of the house, had other priorities now that the house is finished, I will address the problems of loss."
It is a reasonable answer.
Good luck

They have a certain amount of time to make a claim. It is doubtful that the policy lapsed insurance to the cooperative. a claim that honor, but it is worth to them.
