What is the best way that you have found to stop the odor when wearing leather ballroom latin dance shoes? - latin dance shoes blogspot

Most of us do not wear socks when dancing Latin dance shoes. I bought my first pair of leather and boy do my feet and shoes smell of it. It makes no sense for me one of my other balls, or street shoes. My friend said something about shoes before what looks like a common problem with leather shoes, dance in particular. What have you tried? Odor-Eaters, dust or anything else does not seem to help? (No wise cracks needed, thank you.) Any good advice is welcome and appreciated.

Use Bunheads balm. It is good for ballet, ballroom, and salsa. Foot balm is hypoallergenic dry and eliminates odors, but is comfortable and durable shoes for a dance. You can find this in ballroomgifts.com, a local dance shop or even food. Its about $ 10.50, takes a long time and it works great!

Latin dancing, and I have this problem too. Satin shoes are no better, remains BTW, from the inside of the shoe leather. What can I do to ensure is that the shoes to dry their best chance after the training. In addition, approximately every other practice, preferably only after the training, I clean the inside of the shoe with something that removes the odor. Even a wet sponge or paper is already very good, but you can use alcohol wipes or disinfectant or a mild soap. The aim is to wipe the sweat from age. What my feet - I wash only after training.
I am very picky with the traction I feel (in the shoe and floor). I can not use any of the powder for this reason. In addition, dust bulbs gives me - maybe it's just me. Another problem with dust- If some of them go into the sole of the shoe - Shoes are much more slippery and American dancers do not like.

I have tried to put the sock full of baking soda in your shoes at night, in the hope that it contributes to the smell. It works, but not fantastic. He also worked in my first pair of shoes, the toes are closed. For Thong sandals - not so great.

I have tried to spray deodorant shoe that can be purchased in a pharmacy or shoe store. This works, though often used enough. But nothing beats the old and simple cleaning with a damp sponge for me.

I will try what Roddick27 proposed that sounds like it could go, and it would be good for my feet.

For carry in closed shoes, socks, I - there are styles that are cut very low and not at the edge of the shoe. The best have a share of cotton. I begin with my flamenco shoes and stop the odor problem completely.

I do not have a solution for the open sides of the strips or shoes. I have tried to apply dust, but it is difficult to in-depth without being made outside of the shoe and - if the shoe leather or snake skin like me not doing well. I like the idea that the foot-balm, but I do not think I've seen here.

Use Triple Action Gold Bond powder. Relieves itching, absorbs moisture and odor control of the foot. It is in the blue containers. Believe me, it kills the smell. Good luck!

The best way to stop is to put talc on your feet before dancing.
